Staff Security Analyst - MN

POSITION SUMMARY

The Staff Security Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Client with all Data Protection duties. This will include daily management of Data Loss Prevention, Device Control, Data Classification. Additionally, the staff security analyst will assist and consult on other aspects of the clients security posture as requested.

 

 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

On-site Role Duties

  • Perform DLP event investigations with the DLP Operations Group team and Business Information Security Officers (BISOs)

  • Interact with Client’s end users over email and phone communication

  • Communicate and present the DLP program’s purpose with the Client’s organization

  • Design, implement and track the DLP user consent program

  • Manage the Application to test and deploy endpoint agent packages with SCCM

  • Track work within ServiceNow

  • Maintain a strong relationship with InteliSecure DLP Analysts and Engineers

  • Provide DLP policy tuning recommendations and roadmapping

  • Automate Process workflow to increase efficiency

  • Work with Azure Information Protection (AIP) or other data classification tools

  • Understand and explain secure processes (ie. Password protection, encryption, data classification (confidential, strictly confidential, internal use, etc.), encrypted devices, TLS, etc.)

  • Work with TrendMicro DeviceControl and/or Symantec DLP w/ Device Control

  • Work with CASB

 

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties as assigned

     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in information security, digital forensics, intelligence, risk management, or similar field

  • 1-2 years’ as high performing Data Investigator

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or other applicable degree

  • Demonstrated understanding of products and business environments aligned to supported client

  • Understanding of and proficiency in planning and managing multiple tasks

  • Proven and exceptional talent with MS Office

  • Considered Subject Matter Expert (SME) against supported product

  • Ability to analyze data sets and uncover unique attributes and trends

  • Demonstrated organizational and scheduling skills

  • Rigorous attention to detail

  • Passion to find innovative and creative solutions to complex problems

  • Ability to work effectively with team members and with clients

  • Self-motivated, with ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Consultative skills and strong judgment

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions to a variety of audiences

  • Strong time management skills

 

HIGHLY PREFERRED:

  • Experience with various Data Loss Prevention systems

  • Experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems

  • Analyzing data and deriving business intelligence

  • Performing computer or cyber forensics and investigations

  • Security+, ITIL, ISO 20/27k, CFE, and related certifications
